Treatment in your Time of Need
We specialize in MEDICAL or MUSCLE-SPECIFIC type massages. People may prefer medical or muscle-specific massage for particular problems such as neck pain, headaches, backaches, etc. These massages are usually deep tissue (deep pressure) with joint movements and trigger point (sore spot) attention given to particular areas. These massages may or may not cover the entire body, but rather focus on the specific areas of pain and discomfort.
We also provide RELAXATION MASSAGE. Some people prefer a relaxing, stress reducing type massage. We certainly do provide this type of massage with light to medium pressure and long, soothing strokes and enhancing massage cream for skin rejuvenation. These massages are usually full body massage without focusing attention to a particular area.
We accept WORKMAN'S COMPENSATION CASES/REFERRALS. Contact your BWC provider or MCO representative or MEDICAL MASSAGE ASSOCIATES for help and pre-approval for massage therapy treatments.
We accept some AUTOMOBILE ACCIDENT CASES. That means that if you were involved in an automobile accident in the State of Ohio, you may be eligible for therapeutic massage treatment to be covered by an automobile insurance company. As a medically licensed massage therapy practice, we take professionalism very seriously. Our treatment is therapeutic, medical, and non-sexual. Any observation of behavior that is inappropriate or sexual will result in the patient being asked to pay for your scheduled massage and to leave the office immediately.
